Malta eatery, music venue opening second location in Albany ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Nanola, a restaurant and live music venue with New Orleans influences in Malta, is getting a second location in Albany. Owner Shane Spillenger said Nanola South will be located in the former Parish Public House at 388 Broadway. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! Nanola opened at 2639 Route 9 in Malta in 2013. The name is a play on words, combining "nano" which means small, and "nola" which is slang for New Orleans.Nanola South won't have the same menu as Nanola in Malta. Spillenger said they plan on having a quick-service menu for lunch and bigger events, and a sit-down menu for dinner that'll have similarities to the original location. NYSP: Albany man posted video abusing his own dog ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany man was arrested after he posted a video of him striking his dog with a leash, according to New York State Police. Jahmir Williams, 24, is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! On Tuesday, state police said investigators received information regarding a dog that was physically abused in Albany in September. Police say the investigation led to the discovery of a video online that showed Williams striking a dog he owned repeatedly with a leash.Williams was arrested and taken to Latham State Police for processing. LOUIS - Two people are dead in what police are calling a double homicide In the Benton Park West neighborhood of south St. Louis.There is limited information from the police at this point, but authorities have told FOX 2 that they think both of the victims were adult males, and we also know a suspect is in custody. The shooting took place on the 3000 block of Wyoming in south city. Police are still on the scene while the investigation is ongoing.St. Louis Police told FOX 2 that they got the call just after 6:00 a.m. Upon arrival, they found the two victims shot. Suspects demand property, shoot man before driving off in Hollywood A man was approached by a pair of suspects in a vehicle and shot while standing outside his car in Hollywood late Tuesday night. The incident occurred shortly before 11 p.m. near the intersection of Fountain Avenue and North La Brea Avenue. Investigators determined that the victim, described as a Black man between 30 and 35 years old, was approached by two male suspects in a vehicle who demanded his property. It was unclear if the victim gave the suspects any cash or belongings. As the suspects were leaving the scene, one of them fired at the victim, striking him at least once.Video showed two bullet holes on a driver-side window of a vehicle with blood dripping down the side.
