I-70 reopens after serious car crash DENVER (KDVR) -- An early morning car crash closed all lanes of eastbound Interstate 70 near Routt Street.On Friday at 2:30 a.m., two vehicles were involved in a crash on I-70 with one male taken to the hospital with serious bodily injuries, according to the Wheat Ridge Police Department. 1 dead in Brighton construction site crash DENVER (KDVR) -- The Brighton Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred at a construction site on Friday morning.The department reported that a worker was operating a dump truck near East 114th Avenue and Primrose Circle at approximately 9:30 a.m. The dump truck was traveling slowly in reverse and ran over another worker. I-70 reopens after serious car crash The victim has not been identified, pending identification by the Adams County coroner. Brighton Police said the 65-year-old male victim was unresponsive when officers arrived and was later pronounced dead on scene.The truck driver was identified as a 46-year-old male who was uninjured, cooperative and showed no signs of impairment. He was arrested for careless driving causing death.Brighton Police's investigation is ongoing.

Photos: Sleeping resident evacuated from blazing house fire DENVER (KDVR) -- Adams County Sheriff's deputies responded to a house fire in Bennett Friday morning and were able to help a sleeping resident safely exit the burning home.The fire was located in the 300 block of Sixth Street. Bennett-Watkins Fire Rescue also responded to the scene and suppressed the flames.
