San Diego takes top spot in ranking of most expensive places to live in U.S. To determine the most expensive zip codes in the country, researchers at Property Shark said they looked at residential transactions closed between Jan. 1, 2023 and October 20, 2023, while taking into account condos, co-ops, single and two-family homes.
